To sum this collection up quite simply, I'd have to say 'flower power'. Preen sticks to amazing prints in this seasons resort collection as in their last. Resort 2012 was more elegant and romantic prints where as now Preen takes quite the turn with bolder colors and patterns this season. Some of the prints are really graphic and look somewhat like watercolor paintings, which I love. I like seeing flowers I can identify and most of these I didn't know about until after I moved to England, like the Hydrangea (which is now one of my all time favorite flowers) and the poppy. I had never seen a poppy before, until this fall all the streets here in London were crowded with people selling plastic poppies as fundraising for the Royal British Legion. So I'd say all in all this collection is very inspired by England, both when it comes to cuts, shapes and then prints. You'll find cool jumpers as well as gorgeous, elegant dresses and casual skirts perfect to pop up an everyday outfit. I want all of it!
The beautiful Valerija Kelava modeled the collection.

Now go have an amazing Thursday! I'm afraid I have to stay on my own in the The Kooples Hampstead store (not that I'm complaining getting to spend my day around amazing clothes!), but I guess it would be to optimistic to ask for someone to visit me with a hot chocolate? No?
